Breaking Code Silence is an organization that is 100% volunteer-based, so your money goes directly into the work we do.

We expose and build awareness surrounding the Troubled Teen Industry and lobby for legislative change. Most importantly, we work 1:1 with individual families to prevent a child or teen from being sent away to a program, or we work with parents to emancipate their child or teen who is currently under the care of an abusive program.

We are the only organization of this kind that has an advocacy team who offers this urgent support to children and their families. Our work is incredibly impactful and rewarding, and we want you to be a part of it.

We are just getting started. Your contribution is pivotal to the work we do. With an estimated 200,000 children and teens being sent to these programs annually, there is a very real sense of urgency to create lasting change in this industry.

We work tirelessly to prevent the physical and sexual assault, physical and medical neglect, human and civil rights violations, avoidable hospitalizations, and hundreds of senseless deaths that children under the care of these “therapeutic” programs are subjected to.

Join us in creating lasting legislative change, both at the state and federal level, and on a one-on-one basis with each family we help stay together.
